About the Lab:
The QAN lab has an array of research projects that explore elements of Emotion, Morality, Cognition, and Memory employing behavioral and neurophysiological methods.
We examine the adaptive and maladpative ways in which emotions prioritize perception, cognition, and memory in achieving goal-driven behaviors.
We examine the interconnections of emotion and morality in moral decision-making.
We examine the emotional and cognitive consequences of emotion regulation within dyadic pairs.
We examine how the autoimmune disease negatively impacts emotional and spatial cognition.
We examine emotion dysregulation as a mediator of stress and trauma and pathology.
We examine psychophysiological markers that can mediate the effectiveness of emotion regulation strategies.
